This month we also had production team Luxeve Media come to Studione1 for a photoshoot. Luxeve Media is a production company from Atlanta GA. Christy and Leeman run the business, and they are extremely creative, professional, dedicated people to their work. They came down to Fort Lauderdale for a client and chose Studione1 to be their hosting studio. The Project they worked on was a product to protect your mattress from bed bugs. Luxeve Media had a wonderful spokes model, and a fabulous team to get the project done. We really enjoyed having them at Studione1 and hope to see them for future projects. Here is behind the scenes video of their shoot, and some pictures. Thank god for iphones.

Over the weekend Musician Mike Beatz created a new music video “Graduation” with Noel Rosado. Another up and coming musician from South Florida taking on the music community and ears all over the world. It was a fantastic success with many set changes, characters, and various stories all told for the video. It was shot with a gorgeous RED camera too! Even Peter had an opportunity to be in the video! Very fun crowd, many people where in the studio at least 30 – 40 friends and supporters of Mike and the man himself. Here are video’s and stills from the epic Saturday.
PHONE BOOTH! Awesome prop!
Be sure to check out Mike Beatz’s music in the future. His rhythms are great, and the lyrics are wonderful. Can’t wait to see the music video to come out. Here is a link to his FACEBOOK and his TWITTER. Enjoy – Studione1
Friday we had the greatest opportunity of having Lola in the studio! Tony Forrest one of our in house special effects persons bought this beautiful new little white fiat that is a true cutey. Having the wonderful green screen at our convenience we wanted to do a test video shoot. The objective was to make the deception that the car is actually driving, but its actually just planted on the green screen.
We did this with a couple lights, a wholey scrim (to make it look like there were trees blocking sunlight) and someone further behind the car leaning against it to shake it. Which was extremely hard to be serious in the drivers seat with all that going on. I couldn’t stop laughing. Another bonus is that Andrae Palmer stopped by with his Red Epic camera for the test. It was my first time being shot with the RED and I can’t tell you just how stoked I was. Carlos Nunez went around the block with Tony in the passenger seat with the Canon 5D to shoot the footage that would be inserted into the green screen area. He used a handy towel under the camera to try to help soften how much turbulence the camera would go through. I cannot wait to see how both footages combined will look. Here is some behind the scenes video of getting the car in the studio. Way to much fun!
This week we have had teen star Nick Merico come in this week at Studione1 for a rehearsal. Nick is a 15 year old ambitious singer taking on the hearts and crushes of girls all over the world.. He is based out of South Florida and has started to fill venues at the age of 11! Also, he has videos on youtube that have had over 3.5 MILLION VIEWS! The talented artist is known for doing covers and now creating personal written lyrics and songs. His voice is really wonderful, he is a joy to be around, and fun. Here is some behind the scenes from him at the studio and and some of his more viral music videos.
Nick is affiliated with the company Starlent Performing Arts. Here is their website: starlent.org The Starlent organization is amazing. They truly provide a great opportunity for young children who have gifts with creating. With the lack of education in the arts in the public school communities, Starlent is here to pick up the slack as best as possible. Starlent offers training programs, summer camps, and school tours to make sure they can help cultivate the best out of naturally talented children. This helps give back to the communities and help children with creating efficient outlets for daily struggles they can use for life.
Personally I think this is brilliant, If you are reading on this blog you are most likely a creative. We all know just how dear music, drawing, photography, and paintings etc. can really inspire and help us all make something great to give back to the world. The thought of not having a creative class growing up in school makes me grit my teeth. I am so happy this organization is around. Having more possible Tony Bennetts in the world is exciting anyhow.
We are also proud to announce that Starlent Performing Arts and Studione1 have made an alliance. They will be coming to the studio with up and coming talents for rehearsals in the future and maybe music videos! We shall see! We are very excited to be involved with this group and here is some other wonderful information about them and what they do for our communities and children.
Starlent gives back to the Children Home Society, Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, Tornado Victims in Joplin Missouri, and The Glenhope Children Home in Kingston Jamaica.
This week the Studione1 team had the pleasure of going location scouting for the movie EXPOSURE. Carlos Nunez is the Director and Peter Langone is the Producer. We have been doing castings for the characters the past two weeks and we had a nice break checking out this lab in Florida. Happens to be an amazing place where they cultivate algae for cosmetic products. Talk about moisture and awesome! The colored lights they use for these organisms are so cool, they vary with wild neons and very cool reflectors all over the place. The huge containers that they place the algae in look like huge dradels to me. Lighting this location for the movie will be super exciting as well. Here are some images from the lab field trip!
